BURYING THE PAST IS AN UNFORGIVABLE CRIME

A HISTORY  LESSON THEY'LL  NEVER FORGET ... AND NEITHER WILL YOU.

"Sometimes an attempt to erase the silhouette of past may furnish the darker graffiti on the wall of life."

Chris Schneider, the detective working for Private Berlin (International Detective Agency Private’s Berlin, Germany Office) goes missing. Katharina Doruk, managing investigator calls Mathilde “Mattie” Engel the promising detective of Private, and ex-fiancée of Chris, apprising her that Chris was on personal leave, and hasn’t checked in when he was supposed to. Mattie suggests her to try the chip. With the authorization of Jack Morgan who owned Private, Dr. Ernst Gabriel a polymath and Private’s Forensic Expert activated the locator chip (embedded under the skin of every detective) of Chris. The chip led them to a long abandoned building on the eastern outskirts of Berlin. Counter terrorism expert Tom Burkhart and Mattie goes there, building was a slaughterhouse back in the communist era, before the wall fell. They find nothing except the chip wrapped in a livid flesh; and calls the Berlin Kripo (Crime Investigation Department).

HauptKommisar Hans Dietrich, an investigator of Berlin Kripo and Private begin the investigations. They found Chris dead with other corpses, brutally murdered in the subbasement of slaughterhouse. In a little while the building explodes, almost killing Mattie and her team. They went through cases Chris was working on.

Soon Mattie figured out that masked killer is aiming Chris’s childhood friends and killing them one by one leaving no traces behind. Death toll keeps rising and Paranoid mad genius stays far from their sight burying the ‘Past’. As the tale progresses it uncovers the past of many characters and truth about that slaughterhouse revealing terror and horrors of East Berlin before the wall fell.

Will Mattie and her team catch the Sadistic Psychopath Killer breaking his delusion that he is ‘Invisible Man’? Or will Mattie become his next victim?
